What is TimeCult?
TimeCult is a personal task management and time tracking application written in Java.
TimeCult allows to create a hierarchy of projects and tasks, collect time metrics, quickly estimate used time per any project/task for a given time period, exchange data with Microsoft Excel and/or OpenOffice.org Calc. Keeps a detailed history of used time for any task along with comments on what has been done.

What's New in Version 0.9.0
- NEW: A possibility to close a project (feature request 2515469).
- NEW: Custom filters. A user can create an arbitrary filter specifying its start and end dates. The filter is stored in the workspace. Feature requests: 1818537, 1957673.
- NEW: Hyperlinks. A hyperlink (URL) can be associated with a project tree item (project, task, activity). The hyperlink can be opened by double clicking to the item. The feature is useful if you have an external bug- or task-tracking system and would like to open an associated link with a minimal effort.
- NEW: "Select All" menu item and Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut in "Journal" and "Summary" tabs. Feature requests: 1818531, 2787894.
- Fixed: A selected project tree item is made visible after add/edit operations.
- Other minor bug fixes.
Software Requirements
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Packages for other platforms are not available yet.
- Java Runtime or JDK version 6.0 or later.
